Synopsis
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME is a 1996 animated music film, the 34th Disney animated feature. Based on Victor Hugo’s novel of the same name, the story, set in fifteenth century Paris, centers on Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral and his struggle to gain acceptance into society. The movie features nine original songs with lyrics by Schwartz and music by Alan Menken.
