Wicked: For Good adapts the second act of the stage musical, picking up after Elphaba has been branded the Wicked Witch of the West. As she goes into hiding and continues her fight against the Wizard’s regime, Glinda becomes a public symbol of “good,” caught between loyalty and duty.
The story traces the widening divide between them—through love, loss, political manipulation, and the events that intersect with The Wizard of Oz—until their friendship reaches its emotional culmination in “For Good,” where both women reckon with who they’ve become and what they mean to each other.
